HOW DOES A ROLL SHAPER WORK

This is a lymphatic drainage type of massage and, during the procedure, the whole lymphatic system is stimulated and lymph is directed to the lymphatic nodes.

Blood circulates through a complex system of blood vessels and, respectively, lymph circulates throughout the lymphatic system. The only thing that differs is that blood is pumped by a natural ‘motor’ – the heart. Lymphatic system does not have such a ‘motor’ and is stimulated only by muscle activity. Because of that, lymph circulation is rather slow and we have to take care of its activeness.

Lymphatic drainage massage improves our health in various ways. It makes the body noticeably lighter, boosts energy and vitality, increases metabolism, immune function, sleep quality and work efficiency, reduces swelling and numbness of the limbs, stimulates blood circulation.

But these are not the only benefits of lymphatic drainage massage. Most ladies are really excited about the possibility to lose inches, firm the skin, tone the muscles and reduce the appearance of cellulite. The transformation of your body is achieved not by massaging a certain part of the body, but by stimulating the lymph flow and detoxification. You get a slimmer, more toned physique with less cellulite and water retention.

The massage itself is like a work out, where you follow 18 easy steps using Roll Shaper. Your muscles might feel a bit achy after the first couple of goes, but there is nothing to worry about, your body will get used to the massage and each time it takes less effort. There is a possibility that you might feel slight fatigue and dizziness after your first massage. It’s perfectly normal, because your body is getting rid of toxins accumulated in the fatty tissues over the time.

Why lymph circulation is so important?

This system cleanses your body and provides it with internal hydration. Its major functions are to cleanse and detoxify your body, hydrate your tissues, support your immune system, whilst increasing your metabolism. The first sign of sluggish lymph circulation usually is an internal ailment. A person may suffer from fatigue, low energy, sleeping disorders, digestion problems and weak immune system. When lymph circulation is disturbed, the tissues are not hydrated properly. This causes skin conditions, faster wrinkle formation, eye ‘bags’ and the worst enemy of all to women – cellulite.

During the procedure it is crucial to drink plenty of water. We also suggest you drink 0.5 – 1l of water before the massage. You are more than welcome to drink a complimentary bottle of water which we supply during the procedure. Plenty of water is needed, because deep body cleansing starts during lymphatic draining massage. Increased lymph flow eliminates toxins and other harmful substances. Body accumulates toxins due to unhealthy diet, environmental pollution and other factors. They are eliminated via sweat and urine. When there is not enough water in the body – lymphatic drainage system cannot properly perform the process.

Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day

Physicians and nutritionists are constantly highlighting the importance of water for our body. Recommended water intake per day for an adult is 6-8 glasses of water. This is not a huge amount, especially if one makes drinking water a habit. If we don’t feel thirsty, it does not mean that our body doesn’t need liquids. Under constant lack of water, it switches to ‘saving mode’. Remember, if you feel thirst it means your body has already dehydrated! The rule of eating smaller servings, but more often, also applies to drinking. Rare and large amounts of water also puts additional burden on your kidneys; moreover, it all is immediately excreted with urine. In this case, water neither cleanses, nor hydrates the body. It is important to remember that juice, black tea or coffee are not considered as liquids. According to nutritionists, juice is food, and coffee, or black tea have diuretic effect.
